Accessibility

Neighborhood

Woodforde's cottage looks out onto Beeston Common, with parking just outside on the Common, for residents only (no permit required). Streams run through the Common and nearby is Beeston Priory and the Priory Maze. You can easily walk up onto Beeston Bump, the cliff top hill which can be seen from the cottage. Follow the stream into Sheringham town itself and the beach which is only seven minutes away. Beeston Common has some lovely footpaths and as you go over Cromer Road you join a site of special scientific interest (SSSI), with many different habitats for wildlife and birds. The rear of the cottage has a small conservatory and patio garden looking out over a small allotment area. Very peaceful, but all amenities are close by.
