Lovely, well appointed cottage in a delightful area. Very peaceful and quiet, whilst being handy for the town centre and the beach. We just wished we (and Roxy, the dog!) could have stayed longer. We will definitely return.

Lovely house with everything you need plus more, the house is in the perfect location and easy to find. The house itself is decorated superb and feels so homely and welcoming, with restaurants literally a stone throw away, would highly recommend 5*

Gorgeous apartment, beautifully decorated and to a very high standard and was immaculately clean. The accommodation is spacious and well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine and lovely crockery. I have to say it had a homely feel with personal touches which elevated it from an average rental, lovely lamps and furnishings. Also nice touches such rugs for the dogs and toys for children. It is over 4 floors with a ground floor bedroom and the other bedrooms are on the third floor with the living area in between. Its location is great walking distance to shops cafes and restaurants. There is a good curry house at the bottom of the road but it’s closed on Tuesdays, however there are also restaurants in Matlock and can recommend the Remarkable Hare great food. All reachable by uber which are readily available and very reasonably priced. There are parking spaces at the property, however it can be tight if you have a large car. However I decided to park at the station car park which is a few minutes walk and £7.50 per day so not a problem. Also the beds are very comfortable but a little small but that’s being picky it’s just that I am used to a larger bed.

Had a great stay in Hannah’s cottage. Comfy beds and all the amenities you could need. The front garden and living room overlook the common get the morning sun and the back garden and conservatory overlook the allotment and get the afternoon sun. Very peaceful and an easy walk to the coast and to Sheringham. Hannah does say that the curtains and blinds are not blackout, which did mean the kids got up a bit earlier than usual but that wasn’t a problem for us, but be prepared/aware if that’s important to you.

We had a wonderful time staying at Hannah’s cottage. The cottage was comfortable and cosy and the kitchen was well equipped with all we needed for a couples of days. We particularly appreciated the dog blanket and stair gate, which made it super easy to follow the house rules with our dog. The cottage is in a beautifully quiet location but still only a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Sheringham’s high street and seafront. The best of both worlds! Hannah was super easy to communicate with and proactive in providing us with the info we needed to make check in and check out a breeze. We would definitely recommend!

The house is perfect for a stay in Matlock Bath. Walkable to pubs and cafes. We recommend The Fishpond for food! The house itself is beautiful and felt very homely. Including having games to play. Bedrooms were big and comfy. Added bonus that there was a car parking space, but also very easy to park at the station and walk over too
